Bespoke cycling tours through Victoria’s best wine regions
Ride. Taste. Discover.
We are Vino & Velo
Vino & Velo curate small-group cycling adventures through Victoria’s most scenic wine regions.
We pair guided gravel rides with exclusive behind-the-cellar-door access to vineyards off the beaten track. If you’re passionate about riding, wine, and discovering places others don’t, you’re in good company.

Everything! We drive you from Melbourne to the start of our first ride. All meals besides breakfast on the first day and dinner on the last day. We supply riding snacks, electrolyte drinks, coffee, cafe breakfasts, light cafe/bakery lunches, restaurant dinners. 4 star accomodation twin share, a single room supplement can be organised. All guided rides with vehicle and mechanic support. We supply GPX and Strava routes of all planned rides. Access to wineries and free tastings. You only need to pay for wine purchases. We do not supply alcohol other than tastings at wineries, of an evening should you wish to indulge in wine you are most welcome at your expense. We charge a $495 single supplement.
-
Preferably, but if you don’t have a gravel bike we can organise you a Trek hardtail mountain bike for $50 per day.
-
Enjoying the outdoors sometimes means we experience light rain, we will be prepared for inclement conditions and stop if safety becomes an issue. The support vehicle will shuttle us to the next destination in dangerous and very uncomfortable conditions.
-
Safety is paramount, if we notice anyone “over-indulging”, a seat on the lovely air conditioned bus is prepared and their bicycle is put on the trailer.
-
We vet all participants before our tour to make sure everyone is capable of what we have planned. We would expect you to be able to ride over 70km at an average of 18km/hr to 24km/hr with up to 800m of total elevation gain. E-bikes are more than welcome should they fit on our trailer safely.
-
Non riding partners enjoy all of the benefits without the riding. We make time for art galleries, cooking courses, and local artisan shopping. We occasionally get you to the winery before the riders, some guests like to enjoy a glass of something while they wait.
